Its balanced wind vane design ensures stable alignment with airflow even at low wind speeds, delivering accurate directional data across the full 360° range. The sensor comes precalibrated from factory, and METOS 5 supports additional calibration by the installer on the final installation location.

The wind monitor combines wind speed and wind direction. It is constructed of a four-blade helicoid propeller for highly accurate wind speed measurement with integrated wind direction sensor. It measures peak values.
