In 2002, a METOS Compact was installed there. Back when SMS was the norm and smartphones were still a decade away from being mainstream.

Fast forward to today, and that same system had been faithfully serving the orchard for 22 years, delivering weather data and supporting decisions through every season.

Now, with a new generation taking over the orchard, the original METOS Compact was recently upgraded to a more modern iMETOS 3.3 model.
