Reconhecidas como os principais contribuintes para os danos irrevers\u00edveis das culturas, as pragas de quarentena e as pragas regulamentadas n\u00e3o sujeitas a quarentena (RNQP) provocam perdas econ\u00f3micas substanciais. Os desafios colocados pelas altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas, a globaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, o crescimento populacional e a intensifica\u00e7\u00e3o do com\u00e9rcio internacional amea\u00e7am ainda mais os ecossistemas e a biodiversidade, remodelando a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o das pragas vegetais. Apesar do imperativo de minimizar os surtos de RNQP e evitar a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o de pragas de quarentena, a aus\u00eancia de sistemas de monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e vigil\u00e2ncia dificulta o estudo destas pragas. Adicionalmente, impede a recolha de dados para algoritmos de Intelig\u00eancia Artificial.<\/p><p><strong>O projeto STELLA posiciona-se para fazer avan\u00e7ar o atual estado da arte em mat\u00e9ria de dete\u00e7\u00e3o precoce da fitossanidade, vigil\u00e2ncia do territ\u00f3rio e medidas fitossanit\u00e1rias, centrando-se especificamente nas RNQP e nas doen\u00e7as e pragas de quarentena.<\/strong><\/p><p>Ao tirar partido das tecnologias digitais de ponta na agricultura da Europa e da Nova Zel\u00e2ndia, o STELLA visa desenvolver um sistema de monitoriza\u00e7\u00e3o robusto e preciso, o Sistema de Vigil\u00e2ncia de Pragas STELLA (PSS), que apoia a dete\u00e7\u00e3o precoce, a vigil\u00e2ncia do territ\u00f3rio e as medidas fitossanit\u00e1rias. Este sistema, acess\u00edvel atrav\u00e9s da Plataforma STELLA PSS, \u00e9 composto por tr\u00eas subsistemas: <strong>alerta precoce, dete\u00e7\u00e3o de pragas e resposta a pragas. <\/strong>Estes subsistemas incorporam os mais recentes desenvolvimentos em Intelig\u00eancia Artificial, Imagiologia Espectral, Modela\u00e7\u00e3o, IoT, Dados, Armadilhas Inteligentes e hardware para criar solu\u00e7\u00f5es precisas e robustas. O projeto abrange <strong>6 Regi\u00f5es Clim\u00e1ticas \u00danicas (UCP) durante 3 anos<\/strong>A sua atividade \u00e9 uma atividade de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento, abrangendo diversos ambientes como as culturas arvenses, os pomares, as vinhas e a floresta selvagem, <strong>abordagem de 8 doen\u00e7as regulamentadas<\/strong> (<i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Verticillium dahliae, Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. savastanoi, Ceratocystis platani, Ralstonia solanacearum, Potato leafroll virus (PLRV), Grapevine leafroll-associated viruses (GLRAV1 &amp; GLRAV3), Candidatus Phytoplasma solani, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">e <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Neofabraea alba<\/span><\/i>) <strong>espalhar-se pela Europa <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(Gr\u00e9cia, Litu\u00e2nia, Fran\u00e7a, It\u00e1lia)<\/span><strong> e Nova Zel\u00e2ndia<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">. Desenvolver e fornecer uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00f3vel:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>O Pessl Instruments lidera a tarefa 2.4 (Crowdsourcing), centrada no desenvolvimento e modifica\u00e7\u00e3o da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o para smartphone para recolha de dados por crowdsourcing.<\/li><li>A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o facilita a recolha de dados dos campos da UCP e dos campos globais, reconhecendo pragas seleccionadas e utilizando capacidades de GPS para compreender a distribui\u00e7\u00e3o espacial.<\/li><li>Compat\u00edvel com dispositivos iOS e Android, a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o permitir\u00e1 \u00e0s partes interessadas captar e carregar imagens de plantas saud\u00e1veis e danificadas para a plataforma STELLA para posterior processamento.<\/li><li>O Pessl Instruments \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pelo acompanhamento da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, pelas actualiza\u00e7\u00f5es e pela aplica\u00e7\u00e3o dos protocolos de crowdsourcing.<\/li><\/ul><p><br \/><strong>2. Utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de dispositivos IoT para recolha de dados:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>O Pessl Instruments contribui para a Tarefa 2.1 (Protocolos de Recolha de Dados) atrav\u00e9s do co-desenvolvimento de tr\u00eas protocolos IoT para a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de dados ao n\u00edvel do campo utilizando v\u00e1rios sensores. Estes protocolos IoT garantem uma recolha de dados padronizada e eficiente, ajustada \u00e0 variabilidade geogr\u00e1fica e ao tipo de cultura.<\/li><li>O Pessl Instruments desenvolver\u00e1 e fornecer\u00e1 ao projeto novas armadilhas inteligentes para detetar e monitorizar os insectos vectores das doen\u00e7as das culturas examinadas. Estas armadilhas utilizar\u00e3o diferentes atractivos (som, cor, feromona), com base nas especificidades dos diferentes insectos-vectores, para alcan\u00e7ar a m\u00e1xima efici\u00eancia de armadilhagem.<\/li><li>Al\u00e9m disso, o Pessl Instruments fornecer\u00e1 armadilhas de esporos para monitorizar a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de esporos de fungos no ar, a fim de identificar o in\u00edcio das doen\u00e7as f\u00fangicas e monitorizar a sua progress\u00e3o ao longo do tempo. As armadilhas de esporos ser\u00e3o analisadas utilizando m\u00e9todos moleculares anal\u00edticos (PCR, ELISA) para determinar o tipo e a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de fungos.<\/li><li>Finalmente, a recolha, extra\u00e7\u00e3o e pr\u00e9-processamento de todos os dados recolhidos da IoT e das armadilhas (insectos e esporos) faz parte das responsabilidades do Pessl Instruments.
