Il messaggio importante che possiamo offrire da questa edizione di Farm Weather Talk \u00e8 che<b> se si vuole capire l'impatto delle condizioni meteorologiche sulla gestione del campo, \u00e8 necessario disporre di informazioni meteo e di previsioni dal campo<\/b>.<\/p><p>Questo \u00e8 il motivo per cui la meteorologia \u00e8 stata imprecisa e non \u00e8 stata creduta dagli agricoltori per le decisioni di gestione. Quando il vapore acqueo \u00e8 costretto a salire, si condensa e alla fine forma le nuvole e quindi le precipitazioni. Le aree che si trovano a monte dei temporali in movimento tendono ad avere eventi di precipitazione pi\u00f9 elevati.<\/p><p>Questo pu\u00f2 accadere nelle aree costiere o anche in quelle che presentano movimenti ascendenti o temporali in retrogressione costretti a risalire la china. In molte aree delle grandi pianure, le precipitazioni durante la stagione vegetativa provengono da tempeste o temporali localizzati.<\/p><p><strong>La natura localizzata di queste tempeste provoca precipitazioni molto localizzate e potenzialmente abbondanti.<\/strong>. Per dirla in altro modo, la differenza nei totali delle precipitazioni equivale a circa una <strong>Differenza di 15-35 bu\/acro nella resa del mais<\/strong>. A $5 di mais, ci\u00f2 si traduce in $75 - $175 per acro di reddito lordo diverso in base alla variabilit\u00e0 delle precipitazioni.<\/p><p>Ho sperimentato personalmente una tempesta che ha fatto cadere 90 mm di precipitazioni in 1 ora e 10 minuti nella mia localit\u00e0, mentre l'aeroporto <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/metos.global\/it\/stations-dataloggers\/\">stazione meteo<\/a><\/span> (a 12 km di distanza) ha registrato 13 mm di precipitazioni (immagini sotto). L'impatto di questa variabilit\u00e0 si traduce in tecniche di gestione completamente diverse, con un'area che si allaga e l'altra che sperimenta un bell'evento di pioggia di ricarica. Pertanto, conoscere la quantit\u00e0 di acqua immagazzinata nel suolo dalle precipitazioni e\/o dall'irrigazione \u00e8 estremamente importante. La misurazione della quantit\u00e0 di precipitazioni o di acqua immagazzinata nel terreno pu\u00f2 essere facilmente effettuata con una <strong>secchio per la pioggia e una sonda per l'umidit\u00e0 del suolo<\/strong>. In altre parole, ogni 25 mm (1 pollice) di acqua immagazzinata equivale a un numero specifico di bushel per ogni coltura.
