Informazioni di base sul progetto\u00a0Agricoltura intelligente dal punto di vista climatico<\/a><\/h3>

Sebbene il mercato dell'IoT sia in crescita a livello globale, il tasso di adozione dell'agricoltura di precisione in Sudafrica \u00e8 stato lento, anche se i coltivatori pi\u00f9 grandi sembrano averne compreso i vantaggi. Carina Olivier dell'METOS SA spiega che i cambiamenti climatici hanno un impatto enorme sui modelli di cambiamento dell'agricoltura. Le nostre stazioni meteorologiche localizzate forniscono dati precisi e comunicano con un computer o un'applicazione mobile. In questo modo \u00e8 possibile fare confronti e previsioni pi\u00f9 accurate, a supporto del processo decisionale del coltivatore\".<\/p><\/blockquote>

Ruolo del progetto<\/h3>

\u00c8 interessante vedere la differenza nella quantit\u00e0 di precipitazioni per due giorni per alcune delle nostre stazioni nel Capo Occidentale. Ci\u00f2 illustra l'importanza del progetto Climate Smart Agriculture nel Capo Occidentale, dove il terreno \u00e8 cos\u00ec complesso che una stazione meteorologica mostrer\u00e0 condizioni climatiche diverse rispetto a quella che si trova a pochi chilometri di distanza.<\/p>

I dati della nostra stazione meteo METOS SA confluiscono nella piattaforma TerraClim per interpolazioni climatiche ad alta risoluzione basate sul terreno. Ci\u00f2 consente a un coltivatore di pianificare in base al terreno e ai dati meteorologici storici della sua azienda agricola a livello di campo. Questo dimostra quanto siano importanti i dati e le previsioni meteorologiche iper-localizzate per prendere le decisioni migliori nelle operazioni agricole quotidiane.<\/p>
