Reconocidas como las principales causantes de da\u00f1os irreversibles a los cultivos, las plagas cuarentenarias y las plagas no cuarentenarias reglamentadas (PNCR) provocan p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas sustanciales. Los retos que plantean el cambio clim\u00e1tico, la globalizaci\u00f3n, el crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico y la intensificaci\u00f3n del comercio internacional amenazan a\u00fan m\u00e1s los ecosistemas y la biodiversidad al remodelar la distribuci\u00f3n de las plagas de las plantas. A pesar del imperativo de minimizar los brotes de PNCR y prevenir la introducci\u00f3n de plagas cuarentenarias, la ausencia de sistemas de seguimiento y vigilancia dificulta el estudio de estas plagas. Adem\u00e1s, impide la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos para algoritmos de Inteligencia Artificial.<\/p><p><strong>El proyecto STELLA se posiciona para avanzar en el estado actual de la t\u00e9cnica de detecci\u00f3n precoz fitosanitaria, vigilancia del territorio y medidas fitosanitarias, centr\u00e1ndose espec\u00edficamente en las RNQP y las enfermedades y plagas de cuarentena.<\/strong><\/p><p>Aprovechando las tecnolog\u00edas digitales de vanguardia en la agricultura de Europa y Nueva Zelanda, STELLA pretende desarrollar un sistema de monitorizaci\u00f3n robusto y preciso, el Sistema de Vigilancia de Plagas STELLA (PSS), que apoye la detecci\u00f3n temprana, la vigilancia del territorio y las medidas fitosanitarias. Este sistema, accesible a trav\u00e9s de la Plataforma STELLA PSS, consta de tres subsistemas: <strong>alerta precoz, detecci\u00f3n de plagas y respuesta a las mismas. <\/strong>Estos subsistemas incorporan los \u00faltimos avances en inteligencia artificial, im\u00e1genes espectrales, modelado, IoT, datos, trampas inteligentes y hardware para crear soluciones precisas y robustas. El proyecto abarca <strong>6 Regiones Clim\u00e1ticas \u00danicas (UCP) a lo largo de 3 a\u00f1os<\/strong>que abarca diversos entornos, como cultivos herb\u00e1ceos, huertos, vi\u00f1edos y bosques silvestres, <strong>abordar 8 enfermedades reguladas<\/strong> (<i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Verticillium dahliae, Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. savastanoi, Ceratocystis platani, Ralstonia solanacearum, Potato leafroll virus (PLRV), Grapevine leafroll-associated viruses (GLRAV1 &amp; GLRAV3), Candidatus Phytoplasma solani, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Neofabraea alba<\/span><\/i>) <strong>se extienden por Europa <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(Grecia, Lituania, Francia, Italia)<\/span><strong> y Nueva Zelanda<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">. Desarrollo y suministro de una aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Pessl Instruments lidera la Tarea 2.4 (Crowdsourcing), centrada en el desarrollo y modificaci\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n de smartphone para la recogida de datos mediante crowdsourcing.<\/li><li>La aplicaci\u00f3n facilita la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos de campos UCP y campos globales, reconociendo plagas seleccionadas y utilizando capacidades GPS para la comprensi\u00f3n de la distribuci\u00f3n espacial.<\/li><li>Compatible con dispositivos iOS y Android, la aplicaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a los interesados capturar y cargar im\u00e1genes de plantas sanas y da\u00f1adas en la plataforma STELLA para su posterior procesamiento.<\/li><li>Pessl Instruments es responsable de la supervisi\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n, las actualizaciones y la aplicaci\u00f3n de los protocolos de crowdsourcing.<\/li><\/ul><p><br \/><strong>2. Utilizaci\u00f3n de dispositivos IoT para la recopilaci\u00f3n de datos:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Pessl Instruments contribuye a la tarea 2.1 (Protocolos de recopilaci\u00f3n de datos) mediante el codesarrollo de tres protocolos IoT para la adquisici\u00f3n de datos a nivel de campo utilizando varios sensores. Estos protocolos IoT garantizan una recopilaci\u00f3n de datos estandarizada y eficiente, ajustada a la variabilidad geogr\u00e1fica y al tipo de cultivo.<\/li><li>Pessl Instruments desarrollar\u00e1 y proporcionar\u00e1 al proyecto nuevas trampas de insectos inteligentes para detectar y controlar los insectos vectores de las enfermedades de los cultivos examinados. Estas trampas utilizar\u00e1n diferentes atrayentes (sonido, color, feromona), basados en las diferentes especificidades de los insectos vectores, para lograr la m\u00e1xima eficiencia de captura.<\/li><li>Adem\u00e1s, Pessl Instruments proporcionar\u00e1 trampas de esporas para controlar la concentraci\u00f3n de esporas de hongos en el aire con el fin de identificar el inicio de las enfermedades f\u00fangicas y controlar su progresi\u00f3n en el tiempo. Las trampas de esporas se analizar\u00e1n mediante m\u00e9todos moleculares anal\u00edticos (PCR, ELISA) para determinar el tipo y la concentraci\u00f3n de hongos.<\/li><li>Por \u00faltimo, la recopilaci\u00f3n, extracci\u00f3n y preprocesamiento de todos los datos de IoT y trampas (insectos y esporas) recogidos forma parte de las responsabilidades de Pessl Instruments.
