Nos complace anunciar que el equipo ha alcanzado otro hito en el proyecto EUREKA SA de agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente: hemos llegado a las 200 instalaciones de estaciones meteorol\u00f3gicas en toda la provincia sudafricana del Cabo Occidental.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Informaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica sobre el proyecto -\u00a0Agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente<\/a><\/h3>

Aunque el mercado de la IoT est\u00e1 creciendo en todo el mundo, la tasa de adopci\u00f3n de la agricultura de precisi\u00f3n en Sud\u00e1frica ha sido lenta, aunque los grandes agricultores parecen comprender sus ventajas. Esto puede atribuirse principalmente a la falta de formaci\u00f3n y apoyo sobre el terreno. Los datos meteorol\u00f3gicos y los modelos predictivos son cada vez m\u00e1s importantes, pero la recopilaci\u00f3n de big data en la mayor\u00eda de los casos genera m\u00e1s confusi\u00f3n en el cliente, lo que hace que vuelva a sus viejos h\u00e1bitos (por ejemplo, tomar decisiones basadas en experiencias pasadas).<\/p>

Esta propuesta combina los conocimientos cient\u00edficos de\u00a0TerraClim\/Geosmart<\/a>\u00a0(SA) y PESSL INSTRUMENTS (Austria), con los conocimientos comerciales y la experiencia de\u00a0METOS SA<\/a>\u00a0\/ Villa. Esta asociaci\u00f3n \u00fanica proporcionar\u00e1 una soluci\u00f3n para el \u00e9xito del despliegue y la comercializaci\u00f3n de los productos y servicios. Al disponer de sistemas de notificaci\u00f3n a tiempo sobre detecci\u00f3n de plagas, alertas de condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas extremas y programaci\u00f3n del agua, este proyecto podr\u00e1 dar servicio a explotaciones agr\u00edcolas de todos los tama\u00f1os, desde peque\u00f1os agricultores hasta grandes organizaciones.<\/p>

La importancia de los dispositivos de vigilancia meteorol\u00f3gica<\/h3>

La vigilancia meteorol\u00f3gica es un aspecto integral de la gesti\u00f3n agr\u00edcola y la mitigaci\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Carina Olivier, de METOS SA, explica que el cambio clim\u00e1tico repercute enormemente en la evoluci\u00f3n de las pautas agr\u00edcolas. Las temperaturas de los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os en Sud\u00e1frica han sido las m\u00e1s altas de los \u00faltimos 138 a\u00f1os. Debemos estar preparados e informados sobre estos cambios para poder aportar ideas y soluciones al agricultor.<\/p>

\"Las estaciones meteorol\u00f3gicas situadas en su granja son mucho m\u00e1s precisas que las situadas a varios kil\u00f3metros de la granja. Nuestras estaciones meteorol\u00f3gicas localizadas ofrecen datos precisos y se comunican con un ordenador o una aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil. As\u00ed es posible hacer comparaciones y predicciones m\u00e1s precisas, lo que favorece el proceso de toma de decisiones del cultivador.\"<\/p><\/blockquote>

Papel del proyecto<\/h3>

Es interesante ver la diferencia en la cantidad de precipitaciones durante dos d\u00edas en algunas de nuestras estaciones del Cabo Occidental. Ilustra la importancia del proyecto Climate Smart Agriculture en Cabo Occidental, donde el terreno es tan complejo que una estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica mostrar\u00e1 condiciones clim\u00e1ticas diferentes si se compara con la que est\u00e1 a solo unos kil\u00f3metros.<\/p>

Los datos de nuestra estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica METOS SA se introducen en la plataforma TerraClim para realizar interpolaciones clim\u00e1ticas de alta resoluci\u00f3n basadas en el terreno. Esto permite al agricultor planificar su explotaci\u00f3n a nivel de campo bas\u00e1ndose en el terreno y en los datos meteorol\u00f3gicos hist\u00f3ricos. Tambi\u00e9n demuestra lo importantes que son los datos y previsiones meteorol\u00f3gicos hiperlocalizados para tomar las mejores decisiones en las operaciones agr\u00edcolas cotidianas.<\/p>
